How does the guess the country game work?
Each question shows the outline of one country of the world. Pick its name from four choices. Far-off islands and territories are left out of the outlines, and countries smaller than 1,000 km² are not in the quiz because their outlines are too small to recognise.

This site counts 195 countries in the world. Counts vary between sources, depending on how they treat partly recognised states and countries that span two continents.
What is the largest country in the world?
By area, the largest is Russia at 17,098,242 km². The smallest is Vatican City at 0.44 km².
